As part of our commitment to literacy,
each year the Rotary Club of London Hyde Park distributes dictionaries to
all grade 3 students in our part of the city
( the other Rotary Clubs cover the rest of London & St Thomas).
We emphasize to the students that reading may be the most important skill they will ever learn and that
dictionaries help make the students better readers, better spellers and better students.
This Fall our club will distribute over
700 dictionaries to grade 3 students in
16 schools in our area
