Barb Robins, District Alumni Subcommittee Chair, gave a presentation at the Rotary Foundation Seminar at Greenhills Golf and Country club on November 2nd.  A key part of the presentation was a Skype presentation by past Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar Erynne Gilpin currently studying for her Masters degree at the University of Victoria.  The picture above shows Barb in the lower right corner and Erynne on the screen speaking about her current studies and intention get a PhD in the study of indigenous cultures.  She expressed her immense gratitude to Rotary for giving her the opportunity to study in El Salvador as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar in 2012/13.  When asked about whether she intends to remain connected to Rotary she stated that Rotary is now part of her life and will continue to be so.
