Hyde Park Community Outdoor Movie Night
Featuring "The Little Prince"
Friday September 8th.
Approximately 35 residents joined us on a clear, cool night at Coronation Park North with their blankets, sleeping bags, and tent to enjoy the animated movie "The Little Prince".  This community event was hosted by the Rotary Club of London Hyde Park and supported by the Hyde Park Business Association and North West London Resource Centre.  The City of London provided all of the equipment, including the blow-up big screen and a support team.  They did a fantastic job!  Ward 7 Councillor, Josh Morgan, introduced the movie and drew the winning ticket for the movie raffle so a lucky resident could take the movie home.  We also sold a few chips and juice boxes for a toonie.

The experience of watching a movie outside under the stars was wonderful.  I only wish I had dressed a bit warmer - actually a lot warmer.  A thin summer jacket simply wasn't enough.  I was envious of everyone else who had warm clothing and blankets.
